Have you ever worried about going through an apocalypse and not knowing how to get your favourite food or snacks? Well, Oreo has got you covered.
Nabisco (the maker of Oreos) had made an asteroid-proof vault. Many ask why they had decided to do that? Well, the reason being is to keep the cookie recipe safe from an asteroid base doomsday as there was a threat of an asteroid potentially striking the earth.
If you haven’t already knew, the reason behind the location is due to The Svalbard Seed Vault being in the same location. The seed vault is a location where all plant seeds are kept in case of an actual apocalypse.
Check thier video out here:
The best part about this is that Oreo had even provided the location of the vault if one were to survive the apocalypse. That is subjected to your ability to make your way to Norway (Hey, this could makeone heck of an apocalypse road trip).
The Oreo vault contains 3 things, Oreo cookies, powdered milk and the recipe for the Oreo cookies. “As an added precaution, the Oreo packs are wrapped in mylar, which can withstand temperatures rom -80 degrees to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and is impervious to chemical reactions, moisture and air, keeping the cookies fresh and protected for years to come,” said Oreo.
But if we do get to the vault, how do we turn the powder to liquid? Everything is frozen over there. In a tweet by Oreo, they tell us to just mix it with snow!
If you really want to take the literal idea of an apocalypse road trip, the global coordinates are 78°08’58.1”N, 16°01’59.7″E. Do note that it will not be an easy journey as it’s nowhere close to Norway mainland as it’s towards the North Pole!
P.S, don’t let Cookie Monster find out the location or else the cookies will be GONE!
