We've read about so many disheartening stories about how people would mass-purchase stuff more than they need, people being unkind to others and so on since the COVID-19 outbreak.
However, we then came across this story which restored our faith in humanity.
The man standing on the left is Sunway University lecturer, Adrian Lee - and what he is offering any student or intern who are down on luck and can't afford necessities and food, is just heart-warming.
He posted this on Facebook:
It is absolutely touching to know that someone out there still cares and thinks of others -- despite only earning a lecturer's salary.
“Hmmm…being someone who loves eating, I love buying food, sharing food and cooking for others. I do not like to see people go hungry. Especially students. I understand how much or little money students have when they’re studying and what more when they have to be in KL and receiving a small allowance during their internship,” says the Film and Performing Arts lecturer.
Love really does exist -- and it comes with FOOD!
